I took this photo at the Yokohama Lantern Night, paying close attention to the sense of distance between the lanterns in the foreground and the background to create a mysterious atmosphere. I sought to capture the fantastical and slightly otherworldly atmosphere created by the overlapping lanterns of different colors and shapes.
