This photograph was taken in Sanbonmatsu (Nikko) and captures the vibrant autumn colors of the larch trees. Keeping in mind the unique characteristic of larch trees—which, despite being conifers, turn golden in the fall—I sought to capture the beautiful hues of the trees spreading across the Sanbonmatsu area in Oku-Nikko, as well as the natural scenery that evokes the deepening of autumn.
