
This photo was taken in Yamashita Park with the imposing figure of the Hikawa Maru blurred by the roses in the foreground. I was conscious of composing the photo in such a way that the front blurring adds to the glamour of the roses, while at the same time accentuating the massive appearance of the Hikawa Maru.
