This photograph was taken with the intention of capturing the sheer power of the large tengu mask inside the main hall of Kasyōzan Ryūgein Miroku-ji Temple. Within the solemn atmosphere, it became a shot where you can almost feel the tengu's gaze.It would be a waste to visit just as a tourist—Kashōzan Ryūge-in Miroku-ji Temple is a place packed with the joy of photography. The enormous tengu mask enshrined in the main hall is a presence that makes you want to capture the very air of the temple's quiet interior in your photo. Utilizing side lighting to emphasize shadows and highlights further enhances its imposing presence. The crow tengu statue within the temple grounds is also not to be missed. Its appearance, performing alongside fresh greenery or fallen leaves, is truly a resonance between nature and faith.
