This photo was taken at Tanbara Lavender Park. I crouched down slightly at a spot where the lavenders were blooming particularly beautifully and composed the photo so that it would appear with the sidewalk. By lowering the viewpoint, the flowers and people are closer to each other, creating a more intimate picture. Lavenders and sunflowers - the place where these two symbols of summer can be enjoyed at the same time is actually Tanbara Lavender Park, located in the highlands of Gunma Prefecture. The cool air and clear skies created by the park's 1,300-meter elevation provide the perfect conditions for photographing floral landscapes. Lavenders in a horizontal composition with the ridgeline in mind, sunflowers in a close-up with the backlight shining through, or from a low angle with the blue sky in the background - this is a place where "I'm glad I took that shot" accumulates with every single image.
