Highland scenery to be enjoyed at Akagi Kogen SA on the way to Kan-etsu Expressway
Akagi Kogen SA is a service area on the Kanetsu Expressway located in Showamura, Tone-gun, Gunma Prefecture. It has a sense of openness typical of the highlands at the foot of Mt. Akagi, and is attractive not only as a place to take a break during a drive, but also as a stopover spot where you can feel the surrounding mountain range and the expanse of sky. Both the uphill and downhill lines are featured in NEXCO East Japan's "Dorapura" service area, making it an easy place to use while traveling toward Gunma or Niigata.
