Wisteria flowers coloring spring, savor their elegant beauty

Wisteria flowers (fuji), which add color to spring, attract many people with their elegant appearance and sweet fragrance. The long clusters of flowers hanging from wisteria trellises are beautifully gradated in purple, white, and pink, and the sight of them swaying in the wind is a true spring scene. From April to May, when the wisteria flowers are at their best, many wisteria viewing spots throughout Japan are crowded with visitors.
