Manjusaka (higanbana) is known as a bewitching flower that heralds the arrival of autumn, and is at its best around September, when its crimson petals spread over the entire landscape, creating a scene of unparalleled beauty. Also known as "higanbana" because they bloom especially during the higan season, they are often seen near temples and cemeteries, and their unique shape and vivid colors bring a magical atmosphere to the autumn landscape. In addition, the sight of manjusaka seen at dusk is even more mysterious and captivating.
