This photo was taken at Hakusan Shrine, the principal shrine of Niigata, where I captured the beautiful lotus flowers in the lotus pond with the light shining through them against the backdrop of the sun. The light filtering through the petals is stunning, and this shot really highlights the lotus flowers’ translucence and sacred atmosphere.
