This flower field, spreading across a plateau at 1,300 meters above sea level, is a rare spot where lavender and sunflowers put on a beautiful show together from July to August. Amidst the cool breeze blowing through, the landscape covered in the contrast of purple and yellow is like a painting.For the lavender fields, shooting sideways along the flow of the rows creates rhythm. A low angle shot while crouching, with the blue sky as a backdrop, emphasizes the refreshing feel. For sunflowers, I especially recommend compositions utilizing backlighting to capture translucent light effects, or shooting from below looking up against the clear skies unique to the highlands.
