This photo was taken at Tambara Lavender Park. I composed the shot with careful attention to the overall harmony of the scene, balancing the vivid lavender fields, the blue sky, and the ski lift visible in the distance. For those wanting to capture summer floral landscapes, I highly recommend Tambara Lavender Park. This flower field, spreading across a plateau at 1,300 meters above sea level, is a rare spot where lavender and sunflowers put on a beautiful show together from July to August. Amidst the cool breeze blowing through, the landscape covered in the contrast of purple and yellow is like a painting. For the lavender fields, shooting sideways along the flow of the rows creates rhythm. A low angle shot while crouching, with the blue sky as a backdrop, emphasizes the refreshing feel. For sunflowers, I especially recommend compositions utilizing backlighting to capture translucent light effects, or shooting from below looking up against the clear skies unique to the highlands.
