This photo was taken looking up from beneath the torii gate. Centered on the vermilion torii, I aimed to capture the vivid autumn foliage surrounding it, consciously seeking a scene that evokes the shrine's autumnal atmosphere. The approach to Ōmiya Hikawa Shrine becomes an ideal photography spot in autumn, where vibrantly colored maple leaves welcome visitors. Red and orange leaves spread along the long approach, allowing one to feel the shrine's unique tranquility and the charm of autumn.During the soft light of morning or evening, the autumn foliage appears even more beautiful, adding depth to photographs. Furthermore, combining the stone-paved approach, torii gates, and autumn leaves helps express the solemn atmosphere unique to shrines.
