This photograph captures the cherry tree standing directly behind the temple gate of Kawaguchi Shrine. It was a place where, alongside the gate's presence, one could feel the solemn spring atmosphere characteristic of a shrine. Kawaguchi Shrine is a tranquil shrine enveloped in a quiet air. Come spring, the cherry blossoms blooming just behind the temple gate harmonize with the shrine buildings' presence, adding gentle spring colors to the sacred atmosphere.
