This photo was taken at the Kuizu Shrine, looking into the blue wind chime display from above. The overhead viewpoint is fresh and highlights the beauty of the wind chime arrangement. One of the best places to visit in Iwatsuki in summer with a camera in hand is the limited-time wind-bell display at Bushu-Iwatsuki Kuizu Shrine. There are several wind chime zones within the shrine grounds, each with red and blue wind chimes hanging in neat rows, each one making a plaintive sound as it swings in the wind. The display, divided by color, has a different atmosphere depending on the space in which it is placed, and the main attraction is that visitors can encounter expressive summer scenes as they tour the precincts of the temple. The red wind chimes shine brightly in the sunlight shining through the trees, giving off a warm feeling that resonates with the vermilion-lacquered shrine pavilions and green leaves. The blue wind chimes, on the other hand, bring a cool serenity to the viewer as they shine through the transparent light. The different light and backgrounds in each zone change the impression of the shot, so there is no end to the fun of composing the shot.
