Jizo through a gap in the cherry blossoms at Mikazo-in Temple

This photo captures the feeling of "a Jizō statue glimpsed through the gaps in the An'gyō cherry blossoms" at Mitsuzō-in Temple.

This photograph captures a Jizo statue quietly standing amidst the Ankyo cherry blossoms, which bloom as profusely as snow. The serene harmony between the flowers and the Buddha statue was striking. The Ankyo cherry blossoms blooming within the grounds of Mitsuzoin Temple typically reach their peak earlier than the Somei Yoshino varieties. The combination of the tranquil temple and the soft cherry blossoms creates a beautiful, peaceful spring scene. The way the light changes the appearance of the blossoms makes it an ideal subject for photography.
