This photograph was taken along the ginkgo tree-lined avenue at Meiji Jingu Gaien. Though the season was slightly past its peak and many ginkgo leaves had already fallen, I captured the scene to highlight the beauty of the few remaining leaves on the trees in the foreground. It conveys both the melancholy unique to late autumn and the charm of the tree-lined avenue.
