Nezu Shrine|Azaleas stretching far and wide

Year 2025April 2025AprilazaleaTokyo Metropolitan areaNezu Shrineblooming (esp. of cherry blossoms)
This photo was taken at Nezu Shrine, where I felt the azaleas stretched out into the distance.

This photograph focuses on the distant azaleas in bloom, deliberately blurring the foreground to create a sense of depth. The historic Nezu Shrine transforms completely in spring. Azalea blossoms color the grounds, gently welcoming visitors. The rows of flowers, with their beautiful overlapping hues, evoke the quiet elegance and splendor of Japanese painting. It's a special season where you can feel the charm of old Tokyo.
