This photo was taken from a location up the approach to Seishoin Temple, together with a view of the blooming hydrangea and the sea stretching out behind it. Seishoin is a quiet temple located in the Gokurakuji area of Kamakura, and in early summer, the hydrangea blooming on both sides of the approach to the temple create a picturesque scene. As one ascends the stone steps, the collaboration of the hydrangea and the sea of Yuhigahama Beach that stretches beyond the steps is an unforgettable sight for everyone.
