At Jufukuji Temple in Meguro Ward, the Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom beautifully in spring, turning the temple grounds a vivid pink. The quiet atmosphere of the temple and the softly spreading cherry blossoms blend together to create a tranquil setting in which visitors can feel the spring season. In particular, the rows of cherry trees along the approach to the temple spread their branches like a tunnel, creating an atmospheric scene in combination with the gate standing at the back of the temple. We also recommend photographing the gate through the cherry blossoms or in the morning when the area is bathed in soft light.
