This photograph was taken with careful consideration of the placement of the cold-hardy red-flowered cherry tree and the Japanese white-eye, composing the shot with balanced proportions.

This photo was taken by slightly blurring the scarlet cherry tree in the foreground and focusing on the white-eye in the background to bring out the subject.

In this photo, I focused on the foreground to highlight the texture of the scarlet cherry blossoms, while at the same time retaining the presence of the white-eye in the background.
