三十槌の氷柱は、自然が生み出した氷柱の迫力をそのまま撮影できる、冬にぜひおすすめしたいスポットです。岩肌や崖、川の流れに沿って形成される氷柱は一本一本の形が異なり、自然の造形美を強く感じられます。川を挟んで対岸から眺める構図では、氷柱全体のスケール感と渓谷の雰囲気を同時に表現でき、冬の秩父らしい景色を一枚に収めることができます。

撮影のポイントは、川と氷柱の位置関係を意識し、対岸から全体を見渡す構図をつくることです。川を手前に入れることで奥行きが生まれ、氷柱のスケール感や渓谷の雰囲気を自然に表現できます。崖に連なる無数のつららは、引きで撮ると迫力が強調され、部分的に切り取れば一本一本の形や質感に注目した写真になります。
