Located in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture, this is one of the most famous places in Japan for manjusaka (higanbana) flowers. In autumn, approximately 5 million manjusaka bloom over a vast area, creating a spectacular sight of the entire area covered in a carpet of bright red flowers. During the season when the manjusaka are at their best, events and lighting up are held to attract visitors, allowing them to enjoy both the vivid red of the daytime and the fantastic atmosphere of the night. In addition to the manjusaka flowers, the murmuring of the Koraigawa River that flows through Kinchida and the surrounding nature are also beautiful, making it possible to enjoy the scenery of each of the four seasons.
