The white-winged teal is a distinctive little bird with its bright yellow-green feathers and white eye ring. Especially in early spring, they gather around cherry and plum blossoms and can be photographed with the flowers to create a seasonal photo. A good time to photograph them is in the morning. White-eyes are more active in the morning and often fly around the branches in search of nectar, making it easier to capture their natural appearance of movement. Using backlighting will beautifully accentuate the contours of their feathers and create a fluffy atmosphere. On the other hand, a cloudy day will spread soft light and gently bring out the tones of the white-winged teal.
