This photograph, taken at Senjogahara, captures the vast autumn marshland and the distant mountains in a vertical composition. By consciously creating a sense of depth so that the viewer’s gaze flows naturally from the vegetation in the foreground to the mountains in the distance, I sought to convey the majestic natural beauty of Senjogahara in Oku-Nikko, as well as the serene colors and atmosphere unique to the highlands in autumn.
