This photo was taken in Sanbonmatsu (Nikko), where I pointed the camera almost straight up to capture the autumn foliage of the larch trees spreading out across the entire sky above me. By focusing on the interplay between the delicate, golden-hued leaves and the branches reaching toward the sky, I sought to capture the fantastical and beautiful autumn foliage of the Oku-Nikko forest from a unique perspective.
