At Senjogahara in Okunikko, the autumn foliage on the deciduous trees—which have turned shades of red and yellow with the arrival of fall—is a beautiful sight on this nature-rich plateau.

This photograph was taken at Senjogahara and captures the beautiful autumn colors of the deciduous trees as fall arrives. By focusing on the hues of the leaves as they change with the seasons and the natural shapes of the trees, I sought to convey the quintessential autumn landscape that stretches across the highlands of Oku-Nikko, as well as the delicate and beautiful seasonal atmosphere created by the changing colors of the deciduous trees.
