
This photo was taken in Otone, the birthplace of the children’s song. I carefully composed the shot to include the utility pole visible in the background, using foreground blur to capture the water hyacinth flowers. By incorporating everything from the soft blur of the flowers in the foreground to the scenery in the background, I was able to convey the expanse and depth of the flower field.
