
This photo was taken at Tōkō-ji Temple (Azumino City). I blurred the large geta in front of the temple gate and focused on the interior of the temple visible beyond them. By using the geta in the foreground as foreground blur, I created a sense of depth and composed the shot so that the viewer’s gaze naturally drifts toward the temple grounds.
