This photo was taken at Higashi-Takahashi, where I captured the green kochia against the light, paying close attention to the sense of depth. By making the most of how the sunlight streaming in from behind made the kochia’s outlines glow brightly, I was able to convey a soft atmosphere in the kochia field that differs from that seen in front-lit shots.
