This photo was taken with careful attention to composition, adjusting the height to minimize the green areas and create a carpet-like effect of flowers. Showa Memorial National Park, located in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, boasts vast grounds and is a popular spot where visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers throughout the year. Among these, the cosmos, which reach their peak in autumn, are one of the park's signature sights. The yellow cosmos variety "Lemon Bright" is particularly captivating to visitors.The Lemon Bright flower fields spreading across the park offer a magnificent view, as if a vast yellow carpet were laid out. For this photo, I focused on capturing the carpet of yellow cosmos (Lemon Bright) as the main subject. To add depth and an accent to this scene, I chose an area with fewer clouds in the sky and incorporated a "door" standing within it into the composition.By positioning the door as a focal point, I aimed to create a unique photograph that suggests a narrative within the expansive flower field. To avoid the sparser area of flowers in the foreground, I cropped the larger image to achieve a composition where the yellow carpet stands out prominently.
