This photo captures what I felt was "a spectacular summer view enjoyed in a sunflower field" at Mangonji Temple.

This photo was taken using a stepladder to emphasize the depth of the sunflower field and the torii gate visible in the distance. By utilizing the height, the collaboration between the expansive sunflower field and the torii gate was expressed in a three-dimensional way. The sunflower field at Manganjiji Temple in Chiba Prefecture is beloved by many as a summer tradition. The sight of tall sunflowers stretching across the landscape is particularly spectacular, and shooting from a slightly elevated position allows for powerful, three-dimensional photos. Targeting areas densely packed with sunflowers in full bloom yields vibrant, lively photos. The contrast with the blue sky on a clear day further accentuates the natural beauty. Using a wide-angle lens to add depth to the expansive sunflower landscape or capturing the moment they sway in the wind can create a more dynamic shot. It's also perfect for strolling with family or friends. Time spent surrounded by sunflowers feels like stepping into a summer landscape painting, and photos with the sunflower field as a backdrop are popular as memorable keepsakes. When visiting, it's recommended to avoid the harsh midday sun and shoot in the soft light of morning or evening. Especially at dusk, the sunflower fields are enveloped in the setting sun, glowing golden and creating a fantastical scene. This makes Manganjiji Temple's sunflower fields the perfect spot for creating summer memories.
