Approximately 1,000 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees are planted within the grounds, and when they reach full bloom, they form an arch-like avenue stretching out before you. Walking beneath them allows you to spend a luxurious time enveloped by cherry blossoms in nature. Another defining feature is the vibrant yellow rapeseed flower field stretching out at the base of the cherry blossom avenue. The landscape woven by the pale pink of the cherry blossoms and the vivid yellow of the rapeseed flowers overwhelms visitors. This color contrast is like a painting created by nature. Especially on clear days, the contrast with the blue sky adds to the scene, allowing you to enjoy its beauty even more.
