The harmony of the stairs, hydrangeas, and buildings at Amabiki Kannon (Amabiki-san Rakuhōji Temple)

This photograph was composed and shot with careful consideration of the balance between the stairs of Amabiki Kannon, the hydrangeas spreading out to the left and right, and the buildings in the background.Standing quietly in the mountains, Amabiki Kannon is renowned as a hydrangea spot. Come early summer, the entire temple grounds are enveloped in a riot of colorful blooms. Its charm lies in the photogenic scenes found everywhere you look: water lilies floating on the pond, ducks and goats roaming freely, and the sight of rare white peacocks.
