This photograph captures the beautiful hydrangeas at Ichijō Keikan Sansō. By focusing on the hydrangeas in the foreground and softly blurring the fresh greenery in the background with a bokeh effect, it expresses depth and the refreshing feel of early summer.Built by Keikan Ichijo in the early Edo period, the Keikan Ichijo Mountain Villa features buildings and gardens relocated from Kyoto to Kamakura, standing in tranquil seclusion. During the rainy season, hydrangeas bloom beautifully alongside the stone paths. The flower-filled hand-washing basin, adorned with seasonal blooms, catches the eye of visitors. Come autumn, when the garden is dyed crimson by the autumn leaves, a profoundly poignant atmosphere pervades the grounds.
