This photograph was taken from a high vantage point atop the mountain, looking down upon Shiofune Kannon Temple, with the intention of capturing the expanse and tranquility of the temple grounds. With the breath of spring, azaleas burst into bloom all at once, blanketing the grounds of Shiofune Kannon Temple in Ome City. Planted in terraces that take advantage of the bowl-shaped terrain, the azaleas spread out in a three-dimensional display of colorful flowers, offering a different vista with every step.
