In this photo, I tried to capture a quaint house with a Taisho era atmosphere, decorated with carp streamers. The combination of the carp streamers swaying in the wind and the building was very impressive. Every spring, the streets of Kawagoe's Taisho Roman Dream Street are decorated with colorful carp streamers, adding seasonal liveliness to the retro streetscape. Taking pictures with buildings and signboards that retain the atmosphere of the Showa period (1926-1989) will create a nostalgic and heartwarming photo. When the wind blows, the carp streamers fluttering in the sky look even more beautiful and go well with the blue sky. There are many ways to enjoy taking pictures, including compositions that look up at the street, and compositions that capture the entire street by taking advantage of the sense of perspective.
