This photo captures both cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers blooming vigorously, vying to outshine each other in vibrant colors. The scene was strikingly spring-like and gorgeous. Every spring, the Akagi Senbonzakura Festival is held at Akagi Minami Senbonzakura in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. Here, a tunnel of approximately 1,000 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees creates a magnificent sight.At peak bloom, the blossoms blanket the sky overhead, creating a beauty that feels like stepping into another world. Furthermore, rapeseed flower fields spread along the walking paths, their pale pink contrasting vividly with the bright yellow, further enhancing the essence of spring. Within the cherry blossom tunnel, I also recommend composing shots that consciously combine not just the cherry blossoms, but the rapeseed flowers as well.
