I consciously framed this photo to capture the entire cherry blossom tree and the sky in the upper left corner.Shinjuku Gyoen is a popular garden located in the heart of the city, known for its expansive natural beauty and the seasonal flowers that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Among these, the early-blooming cherry trees, which flower in early spring, are particularly charming, offering an early glimpse of spring's arrival. Shinjuku Gyoen has three early-blooming cherry trees, one of which is especially voluminous, its magnificent display catching the eye. These early bloomers flower earlier than the common Yoshino cherry trees, typically reaching their peak around February. Their plump petals bloom densely, covering the branches so thickly that the entire tree appears like a mass of flowers, creating a breathtakingly beautiful sight. Each individual petal is a pale pink, giving a soft and elegant impression; viewed up close, their delicacy becomes even more striking.Within the vast grounds of Shinjuku Gyoen, the area where these early-blooming cherry trees flower is a spot where the colors of spring can be felt a little earlier. It draws so many visitors that they often stop and gaze in admiration. Especially on sunny days, the cherry blossoms stand out even more against the blue sky, their sheer volume becoming strikingly apparent. When bathed in sunlight, the petals appear to shimmer, making it an ideal time for photography.
