This photo is a landscape of rice fields and mountains taken in the vicinity of Takumi no Sato in Gunma Prefecture. By incorporating the cut lines of the rice paddies at an angle and composing the mountains rising in the distance vertically in the center, we were able to capture the atmosphere of a beautiful satoyama, which can be described as the original landscape of Japan. Takumi no Sato, located in the town of Minakami, Gunma Prefecture, is a popular tourist spot surrounded by traditional rural scenery and nature. The peaceful satoyama with its rural landscape is dotted with various hands-on workshops, such as woodworking, ceramics, and washi paper making, which can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. In autumn, higanbana (cluster amaryllis) and cosmos flowers adorn the roadsides, harmonizing with the satoyama scenery and creating a picturesque scene. In particular, the area around "Hachiban-no-butsu" is known as a famous spot for manjusaka flowers, and is a popular photo spot for many visitors with cameras in hand.
