I consciously aimed for a wide composition to convey the richness of the surrounding landscape. Omiya Park, a renowned cherry blossom spot in Saitama Prefecture, captivates visitors each spring as it transforms into a sea of pink.Scattered throughout the park, ponds and Japanese gardens offer serene settings where cherry blossoms bloom magnificently, revealing diverse expressions. Particularly popular as photo spots are the reflections of cherry blossoms on the pond and the combination of blossoms along the historic approach path with the torii gate. Shooting with a composition that looks up toward the sky makes the full bloom of cherry blossoms spread out like a canopy overhead.
