This photo was taken of a row of cherry trees along the Shinkagishi River behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, with the composition taking advantage of the curve of the river. The beauty of the reflections and the natural flow of the river made for a harmonious scene, and the sudden blooming of the blossoms in 2025 made for an unexpected visit. The Shinkagishi River, which runs behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, is lined with beautiful cherry blossom trees in spring, making it a perfect location for photography. The cherry trees along the river curve naturally, making it easy to vary the composition, and when there is no wind, you can aim for reflections of the cherry blossoms on the water. The soft light, especially in the morning and evening, also makes it possible to take pictures with subdued tones.
