This photo was taken along the rows of cherry trees along the Shinkagishi River behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine. The cherry blossoms reflected on the surface of the water were so beautiful that I could savor the spring scenery in the quiet morning hours. 2025 was a hurried visit due to the sudden blooming of Someiyoshino cherry trees. Along the Shinkagishi River that runs behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, a beautiful row of cherry trees welcomes visitors in spring. The tunnel of cherry blossoms along the river flows calmly and quietly, making it an enjoyable place to walk leisurely and take pictures. The reflection of the cherry blossoms on the surface of the water on a sunny day or on a windless day is another attraction of this area. Aiming for the soft light in the early morning or evening when there are few people around makes for more atmospheric photos. This is a recommended spot for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the spring scenery typical of Kawagoe in a relaxed atmosphere.
