This photograph captures a fantastic scene of early morning anglers hanging their rods on the beach in the pre-dawn stillness, interwoven with the slowly rising sunrise. Nohi Beach in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is one of the most beautiful spots for photographing the expanse of sea and sky. The ever-changing gradation of light and color at sunrise and dusk is fascinating, and you can enjoy different atmospheres depending on the timing of your shot. The scenery changes with the ebb and flow of the tide and the movement of clouds, so I had to be creative in my composition while shooting. In the distance, a ship sailing in Tokyo Bay adds an accent and depth to the image. In winter, daffodils begin to bloom, and the combination of flowers and the sea creates a sense of the season. In particular, the daffodils bathed in the morning sun are bathed in soft light, creating a tranquil yet glamorous scene.
