This photo captures the contrast of the ginkgo tree-lined avenue woven by light and shadow at Hikarigaoka Park.

This photograph was taken with a conscious focus on the contrast between the ginkgo trees' crowns, illuminated and shimmering in the light, and the shadowed sections within the tunnel. I could sense how the interplay of light and shadow, creating a yin-yang contrast, lends a unique depth and beauty to the ginkgo avenue. Hikarigaoka Park is one of Tokyo's largest parks, renowned for its beautiful natural scenery throughout the seasons. It is a particularly popular spot during autumn's foliage season, attracting many visitors.Within the park, a ginkgo tree-lined avenue transforms into vibrant golden hues in autumn, coloring the tranquil walking paths. On clear days especially, the ginkgo leaves catch the sunlight and sparkle, creating the sensation of walking through a golden tunnel. Beneath your feet, a carpet of fallen leaves spreads out, warmly welcoming visitors.Additionally, the park's metasequoias turn reddish-brown with the arrival of autumn, creating a fantastical atmosphere with their unique silhouettes. In the metasequoia grove, looking up reveals light streaming through the towering trees, further enhancing the autumn foliage and creating a magnificent vista. It is a place where you can fully savor the beauty of the autumn leaves amidst the tranquil autumn air.
