This photo was composed with sunflowers as the main subject while the blue sky spreads out. I also added movement to the sky by incorporating clouds, aiming for a well-balanced finish that is not monotonous. Satte Gongendo, located in Saitama Prefecture, is a popular spot for enjoying seasonal flowers, and is particularly famous for its spectacular cherry blossoms and rape blossoms in spring. In summer, however, the beautiful spectacle of sunflowers in full bloom attracts visitors, and in the summer of 2024, three types of sunflowers will be in full bloom at Kote Gongendo, with a rare deep reddish variety called "claret" attracting particular attention. Claret sunflower is characterized by its chic reddish-purple petals, which are different from those of other sunflowers. This special hue stands out among the bright yellow sunflower fields, giving it a sophisticated beauty. Claret goes well with blue skies, and its charm is further enhanced when photographed with a sky or white clouds in the background.
