In this photo, I took a wide-angle shot to take into account the contrast between the cherry blossoms in the foreground and the background and the position of the setting sun. The area along the banks of the Arakawa River is known as a spot where one can feel the arrival of spring. Among them, the early-blooming cherry blossoms, "yasugyo-zakura," are particularly noteworthy. Because the flowers of the Ayasugyo cherry trees bloom earlier than those of the Someiyoshino cherry trees, visitors can enjoy the colors of spring even in the lingering cold weather. These cherry trees provide visitors to Arakawa Dote with a wonderful sight of the changing seasons each year. Along with the yasugyo cherry blossoms, visitors to Arakawa Dote can enjoy the beautiful collaboration of the setting sun. At dusk, the reddish sunlight illuminates the petals of the cherry blossoms, creating a fantastic scene. The sunset sky, especially on a clear day, combined with the pale pink of the cherry blossoms, is so beautiful that it makes you want to stop and take pictures.
