This photograph captures the sweeping curve of an endless cherry blossom avenue against a vast blue sky. Located in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, "Shinkawa Senbonzakura" is a cherry blossom spot that captivates visitors in early spring. Kawazu cherry trees line the Shinkawa River, and when they reach their peak bloom, a beautiful, seemingly endless avenue of cherry blossoms unfolds.Characterized by blooming earlier than the Somei-Yoshino variety, the Kawazu cherry blossoms reach full bloom in pale pink from mid-February to early March each year, heralding an early spring. Along both banks of the Shinkawa River, rows of Kawazu cherry trees form a tunnel-like canopy, creating a truly breathtaking scale. The flowers of the Kawazu cherry are characterized by their deep pink color. Up close, you can see each individual blossom fully open. Viewed from afar, the scene along the Shin River appears as if it's been dyed pink. On clear days, the contrast with the blue sky makes the view even more beautiful.
